Join us for our new Adventurers program, an immersive outdoor* class designed for explorers aged 5-8 (and a caregiver) that encourages appreciation for the natural world through purposeful play and exploration.
Each week, children will:
- Participate in nature-focused lessons aligned with seasonal themes, and guided by class interests.
- Discover animal facts & behavior.
- Use natural materials to build, create, and express themselves.
- Connect with peers through collaborative games and storytelling.
- Develop an understanding of the needs of plants, animals, as well as humans, and engender a sense of stewardship as caregivers for our earth.
- Have fun playing outdoors!
Classes will be led by Jennifer Drechsler of KinderWild Nature-Based Play and Learning LLC.
*Cancellations due to weather may be possible, in which case additional dates may be added to extend the session.
